SHUKRANA
The groom’s family bring with them the bride's trousseau consisting of several sets of clothes, footwear and accessories. The groom shares a drink of sherbet with the bride's brother. The bride's sisters play pranks and slap the guests playfully with batons made of flowers. The bride will not meet the groom that evening. The Bride’s brother presents the groom with the holy quran, for which the groom pays a token of gratitude (hadiah)

Shalom,We, Imteyaz and Nazreen are getting married and we have chosen this space in cyberverse to make the announcements! (ah! It feels so wonderfully-accomplishing to be declaring it - Touchwood!) Without much digression, we would like to let you all know that we expect each and everyone of you to be there to see us exchange vows. Thanks to some nerve wracking numerology skills, the wedding is planned on a working day - but that is just to facilitate the excuse-monger with a reason to skip the occasion. You are not that and we are really hoping that good friends would really not mind to skip one work day for us. Counting on guys, see you all there.
-Imteyaz and Nazreen
P.S: We'll be really grateful if you can sign our guest-book, that to us will be a memorable souvenir.
Biryani in return for best wishes... Don't miss out
